Yuill & Dodds Ltd are a lorry hire, and haulage services company based just off the M74 at Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland and covering the whole of the UK. The majority of the fleet is Scania, chosen for its reliability, although we do also operate Volvo, DAF and Renault.

Family Business
Yuill and Dodds Ltd was founded in 1952 by Jimmy Yuill and Matt Dodds who retired in 1983. Jimmy's wife Tish joined the company soon after. The company continued to grow, and the partnership lasted for many more years. The company was originally founded in Strathaven, South Lanarkshire, and moved to Hamilton, Lanarkshire in 1988. On their passing, the company passed to son Brian and daughter Karen who continue to run the company to this day. The owner's sons have now joined the business, and the 3rd generation continues to grow the family business.
We are proud to be affiliated members of both the Road Haulage Association and Logistics UK.
We also operate as a Licensed Waste Carrier with SEPA. We are a JAUPT registered Drivers CPC Training Centre. We have further diversified into a more specialised market by operating double-drive tractor units with walking floor trailers and ejector trailers ensuring that vehicles can unload in all conditions and on landfill sites.
